OKW question

My family and I have never stayed at OKW. We are going to try to get in at the seven month window. (Currently booked at SSR). Is there a specific section of the resort that we should request based on it's location? ie, closer to the bus stop, closer to the main pool and dining,etc? Thanks.

Requesting a room near the Hospitality House seems to be the way to go if you like to be near the main pool, restaurants and store.

"Near Hospitality House" would be my last choice. Parking is always a pain around there because people who drive to the HH drive around the closest villas trying to find a parking place.

Just about any area is convenient for everything you need at OKW. If you aren't right next to the main pool, you can walk over or take a bus to that area. Then when you want to go back, either walk, wait for the internal bus to take you back to your location or get on the bus at Peninsular Road and ride over to your area.

Near Hospitality House is a booking catagory, not a request at OKW. If that is available when you book, it would probably be what you are looking for. If it is NOT available when you book, you could request buildings 15, 16, 62, 83, or 64 and still be near HH. That being said, I wouldn't necessarily say that is your best option. It depends a bit on what size unit you are looking for and how many people will be staying. If you are looking at a 1 or 2 bedroom and will have anyone staying in the living room, you will want to request building 30 or above in order to have the second door to the bathroom without going through the master.

OKW has 5 bus stops, so you are always close to one, and ANY bus will take you to the Hospitality House area, becaue it's the last stop before exiting the resort. There are also 3 additional pools beyond the main pool.

We stayed in a GV in January in buildig 63, and I think we were closer than some of the HH category buildings! We had a great time, but we didnt have a car, so I didn't notice if parking was an issue.

I'd include buildings 15,16,17,18,27,28,29,62,63 and 64 as being close to the HH area - but I really don't think you'll find any building inconvenient or too far away from anything. OKW is a large resort, but even the farthest buildings are only a 15 minute walk to the main pool and only as far as the nearest bus stop to get to that area.

Request "Near HH" if it's available, but I wouldn't be disappointed with any of the other areas either.
