OKW price per point to not ROFR

Hi friends,

Well, here we are still working on our contract for the OKW. Things have been going slowly but steady. I received all the paperwork to sign for the contract last Tuesday but had to leave town that day. When I called with questions, the closing person was not in, next day same, Friday, finally she emailed. I am not too happy with the customer service.

The estopal has been signed and submitted, the seller banked the points and now we have to wait for the estopal back from Disney, then the contract goes in. I did change my original price of $76 to $77 and now I wonder if I should go a dollar higher to make sure I get the contract.

What are your opinions?

It is this:

181 points from 2005 banked
220 from June 2006 banked
220 coming on June 2007

Should I go one more dollar or not? I see that $75 was ROFR'd and $78 passed, so where do that leave me at $77?

I have a great mentor who used small word and good visuals to help me understand what fees I need to pay for from each year fiscal Jan-Dec. He has also done a great job of hand holding. I have learned so much and appreciate his effort and patience with me.

What would you do?

If you'd be upset with yourself to lose the contract over an additional $220 - then it might be wise to raise it to $78. If you are already at your limit of what you want to spend and won't be disappointed if Disney takes it, then stay where you are.

In one sense, this is like a closed auction with a time limit where you don't know what the other bidders are offering. I'd treat it like eBay and offer what you are willing to spend and hope for the best.

This seems like a pretty "point rich" property. It might be worth it to increase your bid a little if you can afford it.

I paid $75.00 a few months ago for OKW with less then half the banked points in your package. I rented and droped the cost per point to $71.50/point. I would pay $80.00/point with the banked package you are talking about.

Fat Sparrow and jolly man who was stumbling because of half a bottle of gin, a very small little pirate in a stroller and I was dressed in dark purple belly dancer with gold beads, I have short dark hair and I was wearing a headband. The costume was very beautiful and made in Cyro, Eygpt! Did we meet?

Too late none of this matters. The contract was submitted on the 27th of Oct.

Tell me if this is true. If DVC ROFR the contract the owner has the right to turn down the sale? She can them ask for more money. I don't know if this is true or not. Please let me know.

The seller has already accepted the offer as it is. It is up to Disney to turn it down or accept it at the same terms.
