Hello all,

My daughter and I are thinking of staying in a studio at OKW but looking at the map it appears many of the buildings are quite far from a pool - whether it be the main pool or a smaller one.

I am in a wheelchair for walking and we like our pool time, any comments on your experiences with OKW and the distances to the pools would be greatly appreciated!

We normally try to stay in buildings 55 or 56. You're immediately next to the quiet pool, and very close to a bus stop. However, you're pretty far from the Hospitality House.

Thanks! We don't mind being far from the main buildings. Thanks for the info!

We love Buildings 16, 17, and 18. You're midway between the leisure pool and the main pool.Actually if you're in a wheelchair, you should request a building that has an elevator. If I remember, building 64 does, and it's just across the street from the main pool.

Thanks, this is a big help! I am considering renting a car as well and OKW is definitely one of the better resorts to have a car at because the parking is so close to your room.

Make sure you request a first floor villa if you are in a wheelchair because only three buildings have elevators, 62, 63 and 64. When you make your reservation, you'll want to request an accessible villa. Otherwise you'll be walking up stairs to your villa. There are four pools at OKW, Millers Road, South Point, Turtle Pond and Hospitality House.

You can get on any theme park bus to get to the Hospitality House area since all theme park buses go there last.

request a first floor accommodation for sure....if you are in the hospitality house area, you will be fine (its a separate booking category)....that being said....any bus that goes by any bus stop will drop you at the front before it leaves the resort
