okw or yacht club

how old would the youngest be,as i recall the day beds are not that big
Paul

Think there are new day beds now as my son slept on it and he is 6ft tall, he fitted fine.

I would definately go for the yacht club if you can get it for that price with the free dining

kids ages are 4, 5 and 7 so size of day bed not a problem

yes somebody else metioned that disney do not allow you to book 5 in a studio so wierd that TCD were alllowing it ??? to upgrade it to the 1bed it would be more than the thomas cook quote with yacht club

im going to go in to the thomas cook shop tomorow in town anyway , see what quote they give me for yacht and if they can match the online , otherwise will ring and double check the ddp is definatley offered .

i do like the price but am wary as all other websites quote yacht at way higher !!

Print out the deal tonight (in case it disappears). Make sure you take it with you tomorrow as they want to see what you are haggling with. And good luck :wizard:

I't's 4 in a studio at OKW definitely. Is your youngest's age right i.e age when they travel? If they are in as an infant then it may be messing up the results.

Hope you can get the yacht club deal booked.

I checked this afternoon, even with 3 older children it still quoted me in a studio, It would be a case of booking, if TCD got in contact within a few days they would be able to either cancel or charge for an upgrade, if they didn't get in contact it would be upto Disney to provide a 1 bed and stand the loss or claim it from TCD.

just checked points chart for OKW and studios are all 4 and 1 beds 4,with some sleeping 5
Paul

I can't get my head around the pricing of the above but if offered I would take a OKW 1 bedroom over a regular Yacht Club room if I had a family of 5. Definitely. If it were a choice of studio or Yacht Club room, the Yacht Club would win out every time.

I agree that the pricing needs to be checked out very carefully.

An infant in disney is classed as under three as we were going to add three more to out one bed last year so would in theory have seven in one bed and was fine as girls were under three

wow really when i looked at going before all my 3 were under 3 and the cost was ridiculous they only allowed one cot per room for fire regs and all the travel agents were quoting me in the large rooms/ villas and we was going to have to pay around £61 per night in under occupancy as only 2 adults in the room !!

was that booking direct thru disney you were allowed??

Mine was a virgin holidays booking last year, girls just paid 149 each and i requested pack and plays through virgin holidays and then again when we got to disney. We were in a one bed villa and then mum dad and my 15 ear old sister were thinking of joining us to make the occupancy five

I would also choose a one bedroom at OKW over any hotel room. Mind you I'm probably the wrong person to ask as we LOVE OKW and always stay there! :thumbsup2 Good luck with your decision you won't go wrong whichever resort you choose! :goodvibes

Virgin could have been in trouble the maximum occupancy for OKW 1 bedroom is 5 plus ONE infant.

In fact all Disney resort will allow only one infant in addition to the number allowed.

Well when i was looking at having mum dad and my sister i spoke direct with okw and disney and none had a problem with it, they just needed to pay for an extra key to get in the room

well went to thomas cook and the online price was right and can add dining plan in store no problem !!

when she added the park tix on to get the dining , plus the car insurancce and travel insurance was total £6900, bit more than we was looking to pay but huge saving on booking yacht club anywhere else
