OKW or SSR

I like OKW better than SSR. OKW bigger rooms. SSR everything was so far away when we went and I even needed a car to get to the pool.
Someone just told me the same about OKW. They said if you wanted to get to the main pool from the back you have to bus or drive.

What are your dates? Are you DVC you can check the dates or post here sometimes people have confirmed reservations. It's worth looking at.
We are. We are booking on points. Like I said, we usually stay AKL or poly. Don’t know much about either. TripAdvisor reviews favor SSR at the moment but I know that doesn’t mean much. But we are going March 1-10. I was able to by sure luck grab 7-10 at Jambo club level. We are rope droppers so buses are a big thing. Years ago we stayed at CBR and were the last bus stop and buses kept driving past us because they were full. Hospitality house is booked at OKW so it’s standard or standard at SSR because I’m not using extra points for congress park to be the last bus stop. We ultimately decided to go with SSR for the indoor quick service- proximity to DS and room set up. I hate the toilet/shower in the same area as mirror/sink area. Makes it real hard to get all of us ready early. We are doing heavy parks the first 6 days and pool/ relaxing at Jambo. So not too worried about pool crowds. Will probably use only once.

I know you've already decided but I wanted to throw in my two cents. I've not stayed at OKW yet (even though we are owners), but have stayed at both AKL and SSR and I prefer SSR. I think there's less noise at SSR than those long echoy hallways at AKL.

Don't get me wrong, I love the animals and very little beats sitting on the balcony while zebras and giraffes graze right in front of you.

But I just love SSR. I think (and hope!) you'll be pleasantly surprised by the resort.
Wow thanks. It’s a tough call. Everything I’m seeing is pointing me to SSR. But the fact that so many prefer OKW makes me question it. Even though we hardly ever like what the majority does😂 All I have to go on is someone showing me a video of staying at OKW in a studio and it was right next to the road where 4 buses, golf carts, laundry carts went by in a 5 minute video. She said it started at 7am and went after midnight. That would be a deal breaker. Everyone preaches how big studios are at OKW, I looked it up 21 sq ft bigger. I guess I just wanted to see what peoples reasons were why they like it better, but have found that the reasons are things that aren’t important to me. But listening to buses driving by my room would make that 21 square feet mean nothing. My kids love the Murphy beds at poly so a “real” bed isn’t a seller for me. I posted this just to see if there was anything else and I think I am confident now.
