Looking into renting points for Aug 2014. We will look for a 2 bedroom, we also have 2 3 year olds joining. Would you recommend AKL or OKW for us? We love AKL for its beautiful looks, but we like the space at OKW

for 3 years old would want closer to MK - so would go with either VWL or BLT.

that say if not sure about the 3 years old - then OKW - but love AKV too. both are beautify in different ways

We stayed at OKW in 2010 with 2 kids and 4 adults and there was STILL plenty of room! Not sure if these villas are larger but the 2 bedroom was certainly big enough for all of us

Both are really good choices. The size of the rooms at OKW can't be beat. How many are you? 4? If so, you could easily get by with just a 1BR at OKW.

We did a split stay last year at BLT and AKL both 2 bdrm villas. OMG. Amazing trip. AKL 2 bdrm was a great size by the way, actually both were! We had 4 adults and 3 kids and had plenty of room! Sitting and watching the animals was amazing!! I've heard people say that OKW feels like a retirement community....have never been there though. Also the food options alone at AK are worth it. Jiko, boma and Sanaa!

We stayed at OKW in a 2 bedroom and there was 8 of us. We had plenty of room and loved it there. I loved having the ferry and being so close to DTD:) But this trip we choose AKV:goodvibes I love the pools and the resort looks beautiful and my kids are going to love the animals! I can't wait to go and I have a feeling this is going to be our favorite resort after this trip!

Hi everyone, thanks for your responses! We are going with OKW I think, suits our needs and budgets. There are 8 of us. We would have liked BLT, but it was more points then I think we wanted to use.

AKL is not worth the price. we stayed there several years ago and our two complaints were the bad food and how long it took to get places via the bus.
