OKW one bedroom what to bring? clock

Hi: We are stayng in 1 bedroom and need to know what extra stuff to bring such as a clock is there one in the bedroom? What about shampoo should we bring also hair dryer is there one in the room?

I do believe clocks and hairdryers are standard in all the DVC resorts. As far as shampoo goes...I always bring my own. Somewhere here there's a thread that tells you what's provided and what's not. I'm sure somone will post it for you!

I have recently stayed in a one bedroom at BWV but they all pretty much have the same things in the room. Their was a clock in the main bedrooom. Their was also a small wall hairdryer in the main bathroom. They do provide Mickey shampoo, cond, & soap but only replenish it on the housekeeping day (which is 4th day) Their is a little walk in closet w/ ironing board and iron. High chair & pack and play if needed for little ones. Here is the info from another site: www.wdwig.com

Old Key West One Bedroom

One Bedroom units are 1016 square feet and have a large "great room" with queen size sleep sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman, full size dining table with four chairs, 27" TV, ceiling fan and a full kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped, including small appliances, wine glasses, mixing bowls, pots and pans, etc. It has a full size refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, stove and oven, microwave, and double sink with disposal. These units also have a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board, and a broom, dustpan, mop and vacuum cleaner are available for those who miss their domestic duties. As with the studio units, paper towels, dish soap, coffee, creamer and sugar are supplied. Also included in the one-bedroom units and larger is a small supply of dishwasher and laundry soap. Items available upon request are: bed rails, high chairs, napkins, placemats, voltage converters, hangers, and mixers.

The master bedroom is quite luxurious, with a king bed, chair and ottoman, two nightstands, armoire with TV (drawers under), hope chest with drawers and ceiling fan. The master bedroom connects to the two-section bathroom. The first section of the bathroom has a full closet, pedestal sink, shelving unit, and large two-person Jacuzzi. The second section of the bath contains the toilet, very large shower, and second sink with large vanity. Both the master bedroom and the great room have French doors to the patio or balcony, which has a table with four chairs and ceiling fan with light. One-bedroom units sleep four.

Note: In the older units, there is only one entrance to the bathroom - through the master bedroom. In the newer units, numbers 30 and higher, the bathroom can also be accessed from the laundry area - a big bonus if someone is sleeping in the great room and those in the master bedroom would like some privacy.

There is an alarm clock in the bedroom and maybe one on the stove not really sure. They usually have the small sample bottle of shampoo in the bathroom but since we have no maid service you will want to bring more. They have hairdryers but they are the standard hotel ones depends on your hair with my thick hair and the florida humidity it would take forever to dry my hair. Any other questions let me know we are OKW owners since 94 and have been in all size rooms.
