OKW One Bedroom Layout Questions for Experts???

We are staying in a 1-BR at OKW in a couple of weeks. I have looked at the floorplans on the DVC website but just want to make sure I have it right.

Are all of the villas at OKW dedicated (studios, 1BR and 2BR) or are there lockoffs also?

And in a 1 BR villa, it appears that there is a closet/laundry room that butts up against the bathroom, but there is no entrance to the bathroom from that direction. Is the only way for the kids sleeping on the sleeper sofa to get to the bathroom by going through the bedroom door and into the shower/toilet area in that direction, or is there a second door into that area?

the only dedicated are 2-bedroom

both the 1-bedroom and studios are lock outs

in building under 30 there is only that one door.

in building under 30 there is also a door to the hallway.

To clarify spicey's comments: If you want those sleeping on the sofabed in an OKW 1 bedroom to have access to the bathroom without going through the bedroom, request a room in buildings 30 or higher. These buildings have an extra door that allows you to cut through the laundry room and directly into the bathroom. Have fun. The OKW 1 bedroom units are the best!

Not all of the 1-BR in 1-30 are lock-offs (for converting to a 2-BR) - there are a few that aren't. There are several dedicated - it just depends on the building configuration.

I always ask for Turtle Pond Road - just our family preference - and was actually told last month to do buildings 40 and above if I wanted the dedicated 2-BR units.

Thanks everyone. It looks like we need to request Turtle Pond or South Pointe so the kids have their own path to the bathroom.

In all the years that we've been staying at OKW (that has been my parents home resort for the past 15 years or so and I've stayed there almost every year in a 1-br) I have never stayed in a room where we could go from the laundry room to the bathroom. NEVER knew that there were rooms there that had an extra door there... how could that have happened???
