OKW Newbie

Ok, we just received confirmation that we have OKW ressie for 11/9 thru 11/14. We stayed at SSR June 07 (with whole family), and are wanting to try OKW ourselves (2 of us - DH and me). We booked a studio since it's just an adults only trip. We are planning on attending MVMCP at least one of the nights (prob 11/11 due to DVC discount).

Since we are OKW newbies, any pointers or info you can give us will be appreciated!

Hi! I just returned from my first OKW trip yesterday.. After previously staying at SSR and BWV I wasn't too excited about OKW, but we needed a 2 br for the family traveling w/ us and OKW has the biggest rooms for the lowest points We checked in and our room was ready at 9am! our rooms were GREAT!! I'm definitely adding OKW to my fav resorts... anyway.. on to my one tip... they are remodeling the resort and have apparently started in the back of the resort (we were in building 49) so our rooms were recently remodled and very nice.. none of the rundown looks from reviews I'd read recently. So if you don't mind being farther away from the main pool and "clubhouse" then I'd say request farther back in the resort... then again, they might be done the refurb by your trip, so this might not be an issue
