OKW-Making sure I get HH-online or in person?

Our reservations at OKW are for the Hospitality House, which is confirmed on our paper reservation. I thought I'd try online check-in, but the online form does not include any reference to HH.

Should I check-in in person or online to make sure I get my HH category? My concern is that I read in a different post that someone didn't get their HH room when they arrived late. They speculated that it was given to someone else. We don't arrive until 11 p.m.

What's a gal to do, especially when she leaves in 4 days!!

Also, does the option for "near transportation" mean anything if you're in the HH area anyway? What are the pros and cons to ground floor?

HH is a booking category, just like standard view at BWV or lake view at BLT. You can go ahead and check in online if you want. We just went to OKW this past September and had a great time. Enjoy your trip!

You shouldn't have a problem, the post you read is not the norm. Ignore the request section if you do online check in, that info isn't applicable for DVC Members. Requests should be made with MS.

OP, that was me that this happened too. I agree with the others that I don't think this is the norm. I would've pushed a little harder at checkin, but when the manager came and told me building 16 was now part of HH, I had no reason to not believe her. Building 16 is fairly close, so I thought the info was true and would not have known had I not written to verify it with MS before passing the info on to other members here. While I'm not a big fan of online checkin, I will be doing it when I know I'm arriving late. Normally I check in by 11:00AM, sometimes earlier when switching resorts.
