Today was a great pool day at OKW!! All of a sudden, the typical FL dark clouds came in and we opted to leave to main pool.

In doing so, I wacked my baby toe on the lounge chair. I think it is broken (have broken toes in the past and recall the pain) but do not want to waste my vacation time at the hospital. I will make my own remedy and somehow wrap it so it feels better to hobble around.

Still having a great time being "home".

They should put several warning labels on them like you see on ladders. That should take care of it.

Enjoy, going to be there ourselves soon. Thanks for the warning.:D

I am sorry that the chair jumped out at your toe :)! Seriously, I have broken a toe & I know it is painful & no fun. If you want to rent an ECV, check out the disABILITIES section of the DIS.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your toe, Rosemary! I hope you are still able to hobble around the parks and enjoy the rest of your trip!

1) I would probably sue Disney.
2) This is a clear case of negligence.
3) I can see where Disney is clearly at fault
- you paid for a sunny Florida vacation, and it rained
- the chair got up and ran into your toe
- the chair should have had ample warning labels
- the chair should have gotten out of the way
- the legs should have been designed to not touch the ground
- no life guard present to warn of latent chair dangers

LOL.
Hope your toe feels better and dosen't ruin the vacation.

Maybe being on the first floor has turned into a good thing for this visit! Hope it gets better soon. :D

Just do what they would do at the ER. Tape your baby toe to the next one. Take tylenol or Advil and rent a wheel chair if necessary!

Thanks for your replies and laughs. Knowing that there is nothing that can be done for a broken toe......I taped it together and managed to spend the entire day at Epcot.....at a slower pace of course......

Still having a blast and icing the toe as I post!!!

I will be extra careful tomorrow at the pool..........I plan to do alot of R & R tomorrow.........

Ouch! Poor Rosemary!

Keep in mind that if it gets really painful you can take both Advil and Tylenol, just alternate them. They work on two seperate "systems". I'm not a doctor and don't know more than that, but when I had surgery that's what they told me to do, and it worked great :)

At least you can recover at WDW!
