OKW Layout

Hey all! I just got reservations for an OKW GV and was wondering a few things. First time staying there so I don't know any particulars about that area (other than what I have seen here).

I have seen the maps of OKW so I am familiar with that layout but what is the usual layout of each building? Are each room type (S,1br,2br, GV) interspersed in each building or do they try and have one building all GVs, another 2brs, etc? I was thinking that each building only had ground floor entries but I could be mistaken.

I know, this isn't a big issue, just something I was wondering about.

The GV's at OKW are great. You are lucky to have gotten one since they usually book early.
Each building at OKW has a mix of studio, 1 BR & 2BR units. Only some of the buildings have GV's.

Each building has outside stairs to the rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Only three of the buildings have elevators so if that causes an access problem you need to get it noted on your reservation.

BTW, we got the villa the week of MLK holiday. Only on that day, (the 17th), do we have a waitlist. I thought my luck was running good to get the other 6 days so I went ahead and got them. Hopefully the waitlist will come through.

I think the GVs are all 2nd and 3rd floor also?

Building 48 has a GV that is accessed from the ground floor- all others access from the second floor. The GV in building 63 may be accessed by elevator to the 2nd floor.

From Doc's survey:

GV's are found in Buildings 15,16,19,22,25,29,43,48,51,53 and 63.

Only the one in 48 has a 1st and 2nd floor GV. 63 is an elevator building. I assume those are HA.
