OKW in January

We just decided to plan a trip to OKW in the middle of January. How difficult will it be to get a 2 bedroom?

Availability should be good, but don't dawdle about making your reservations. It is only six months away, and ALL DVC'ers have the opportunity to book there. Many people will book OKW if their home resort is booked, just to ensure a place to stay. OKW is so much bigger than the other resorts and it tends to have more availability. They then waitlist until something at their home resort frees up for them. So you might see a lot of activity at OKW. Good luck and let us know what happened.

I would certainly give it a try. Right now we have a 2 bedroom reserved from 1/14-1/21, but if we can't get any guests to come down with us, we will try to switch to a 1 bedroom.

We go in January almost every year, usually plan about 4 months in advance and have always gotten the room we wanted (including changing our minds 3 weeks before the trip and changing to VWL one-bedroom with no problem). So I don't think you'll have trouble getting a room, but I agree with joepoe -- reserve ASAP to get what you really want!
