OKW in August

Just wondering what my chances of reserving a studio at Old Key West for the beginning of August were at this point in time. The reservation that I had intended to make at Vero fell through today when one of my 4 dates were unavailable.

MS isn't open on Saturday anyway, is it?

Oh, how I wish MS was open on Saturday, but they are not Did you consider just waitlisting for the date you needed for VB. I have heard that the waitlist is very effective if you have some time before your trip

I booked about 3 weeks ago for a studio for the first week of August (check in 7/31)...at that time they had "lots" of availability at OKW and BWV (preferred view only...we had to waitlist for standard view) and also had availability for those dates at BCV and VWL....I was really suprised. Don't know about other sized units because I was only calling about studios....I bet you will have no trouble booking OKW.

I don't think you'll have a problem. Lots of schools return the first and second weeks in August, making travel to WDW by families slow down a bit.
