Thank you...I do appreciate the clarification. I tried really hard not to come off as an "OKW Expert" based on one trip!

I'm no expert either. We've actually never been in one of the earlier buildings. At least not yet. I am just repeating information that I've read here on the DIS DVC board. I appreciate your taking the time to write this report. It makes me feel like I'm at home again.

Thanks for the trip report. So glad you enjoyed your stay. You did have a nice view.

We alway enjoy our trips to OKW and we loved the view we had last August. We were in building 55, second floor. We have requested this same area again for our trip this August.

sounds like there is more than one layout for the bathrooms at OKW.

There are two layouts for the bathrooms. One layout you can only access the Master Bath from the master bedroom.

The other has a door in the laundry room that leads into the master bath. I much prefer this layout, but prefer the location of the buildings that have the previous layout, as they are closer to the front of the resort.

I can't remember how many buildings have the older plan but I am sure someone else will.

I posted the bathroom layout info earlier in this thread. I believe that buildings 30 and up have the layout with the door from the laundry room into the master bathroom.

Very nice report of OKW Granny! I LOVE your view! (As an avid golfer, I would like this view very much)!

May have to try out OKW sometime, esp. if I can get a "golf" view!!

Many of the OKW rooms look out on the golf course, so if this is your request they should be able to meet it! I'm a golfer (cough, cough) too and enjoyed watching the groups come through. Unfortunately, from our balcony we couldn't see them hitting the approach shot but we could hear it and look for the balls to hit the green.

Thank you for your opinion Granny. The reason I asked is that in 2007 I may go in April again with friends. I thought that since we weren't able to make it to DTD this trip, the proximity from either SSR or OKW would be nice. I really would like to try OKW so I can enjoy Richyams "Big" rooms at OKW!

I would rent a car if I thought it necessary, but I really like not having to get behind the steering wheel of a car while on vacation at WDW.
