OKW Hospitality House

We are planning OKW for our next vacation and do want to book Hospitality House but is there a building or a section that I should request?

Since I do not know the area, I was wondering if those who hane booked Hospitality House has a preferred building or section in the HH booking category that I should request. I do not that HH is a booking category and anything else would just be a request. We will be in a studio.

The HH area could be any of the buildings directly across from check-in (11-14), or across the intersection(62-63), or across the Marina on Peninsular Rd. (23-28). Two years ago, we were in building 28 and I think that it's one of the best locations we've been in. We had a deck overlooking the golf course, but had a view of the marina and lighthouse out our front door. We usually walked over to HH for the bus since it's that last stop before leaving for the parks and got off at the Peninsular Rd. stop since it's the first drop-off. I stayed in building 14 once and it was too close to the bus area for me. Too much congestion with resort check-in also.

With that said, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the buildings at OKW because it's such a beautiful resort and one of the most relaxing. And the bus service has been pretty good most of the time. We've only waited and excessive amount of time once and the bell services called to check on the bus for us. Have a great time!

my understanding has always been 11,12,13,14.....23,24,25,26. not aware of 27,28,62 and 63 being involved but if you look at the resort map it makes sense and will eliminate the "hike" to and from the common area.

Hospitality House is a booking category now. It has been for a few years now. There is no points difference. If they have your size villa available for your time period, you can book that category.

I think you already know this--not clear on your post. But as far as building request numbers goes, we have never gotten the exact building we wanted--usually one away or so. Can't hurt to ask.

I think the buildings in the Penninsular Road loop would be preferred over buildings 11-14.

We were in building 12 and really liked the location. It was a quick walk to the main pool, hospitality hous and the bus stop. I wouldn't mind staying in that building again. We were also in a studio.

We just stayed at OKW last month and although I knew that certain buildings in the teens and twenties were HH category, they were not using the ones in the twenties. Instead some buildings in the 60's were used. Okay, that being said, for a first timer, I did not like the look of buildings 13 and 14. They were too close and the vegetation was overgrown and closed in. The buildings in the 20's were lovely looking, and we actually ended up out of HH category in the 50's and loved it. I will never request HH category again, because I really preferred the buildings that were more spread out and had better views. Also, I would clarify with the CM's what buildings they are now considering HH category because they do seem to shift them on occasion. (And perhaps that is due to rehab issues.) HTH!

Perhaps that was done to accommodate the interior rehab process?

We have booked the HH category twice. Once we were in building #14 and once in #25. We were very disappointed in the building located across from the Hospitality House (#14). On the other hand, we absolutely loved building #25. This was very close to the bus stop and a very easy walk to HH.

The HH booking category includes only Buildings 11-14 and 23-26. The newer Buildings (62-64) are not included although they are also "near" the Hospitality House and Buildings 27-29 and 15-18 are also "near" but not part of the guaranteed category. Perhaps with the renovation schedule they have expanded to a few other buildings, but that will be only to accommodate the renovation efforts.

We were in building 24 a few weeks ago and thought it was the perfect location. If I reserve HH area again I will definitely request that area.
