Staying at OKW for the first time and will not have a car. We would really like to be in hospitality harbor area, but our request form has all the sections as options to request except that one. Any tips on trying to get that section.

Are the HH rooms reserved only for DVC members? We are paying cash and staying in a 2 bedroom Villa.

Help!

HH isn't just for DVC members, but it is a bookable category. When DVC members book with points they can choose to book "HH area" (thus being guaranteed to have a room in that section) or just book a general villa elsewhere in the resort (not a specific section). There are other sections that are walkable to HH.

It is Hospitality House and as others have said it is a bookable category. Personally those for the most part have the worst views.. look at the map as there are very close buildings that are not in that category and you will enjoy the view.... truthfully some of the furthest buildings have the best views and are requested as well I doubt you will have a problem getting something very walkable.

We've walked from kidani to Jambo before and don't find that long.

Are the walks to HH from the further buildings a lot longer then that?

You cannot book the Hospitality House area buildings for cash. They are only available for points reservations. This may help you figure out where you want to stay.

You can get to Hospitality House from anywhere by using any bus, as IN is the last stop. You can get back to anywhere by using the Disney Springs/internal bus, as both its first and last stops are HH. But of course check with the driver. Or board any bus at Peninsular Road.

It took me way too long in this thread to realize that "Hospitality Harbor" = "Hospitality House", I was thinking there was a new building or something that cropped up since the last time I stayed at my home resort! :rotfl:Been staying at OKW since it was called Disney's Vacation Club Resort in the early 90s and I can't get it through my head that Miller Road is no longer the first stop... sad... it's been decades....

We stayed at OKW in January and are planning on staying again this January 2020. We had a 2 bedroom in building 28 which is not HH but close enough that we could walk to Hospitality House. Not a long walk at all, about 4 minutes. I think you can request a certain building. Hope this helps

Boy making those right turns in a bus at that intersection would be a true night mare!! Can already be difficult to make the left as a DS bus going to HH!!

We stayed at OKW for the first time in 1998 and Peninsular Road was the first stop for all the theme parks. Millers Road is the second stop after the Hospitality House for the Internal bus. I think it was about 1998 when the tore down the Commodore's House to start construction on the three newest buildings. We bought points when they started selling those buildings and that was before we bought our VWL points pre-opening.

What was the Commodore's House ?
The original sales office. It was about where Miller's Road starts and where 62 is located. Then they moved the sales office to the Boardwalk for a while. Then it was moved to SSR.
