Which would be a quiet building to request that is still within close walking distance to the Hospitality House area? By quiet I mean not near a bus stop/bus route, noisy area, etc. I was thinking 24 or 25 or 12 or 13.

Do you have a DVC near HH category reservation? If not, you cannot request those buildings. Near HH category is buildings 11 to 14 and 23 to 26. If you do have a near HH reservation, I would request 24 or 25. If not, I would request 15, 16, 62, 63, 64, 27, 28, 29.

We are not DVC owners...booking through regular disney reservations. Will we be able to request the HH area or specific buildings?

You can request buildings but 11 to 14 and 23 to 26 would not be available for your reservation. You could just say "HH area" or look at the map and list buildings.
