Any chance of getting an OKW GV for Easter Break at the 7 month window?

There is always a chance. You'll never really know until you call. The dynamics of the DVC reservation system allow for opportunities to open up all the time.

EVen if there is nothing available right at 7 months, the wait list often works.

As Doc says there is always a chance, but I'd say it was a VERY slim chance. We just bought an OKW resale (already had BWV points) for just that reason. We have an extended family that we intend to take to WDW every 2nd or 3rd year and we wanted to make sure that we would have a 11 month window for a GV. They are tough to get. During Spring Break I would say they would be extremely hard to come by.

If you know anyone who has OKW points, you might ask them to make a ressie for you in the 11 month window and then return the favor wherever you have points. If you are not a member you might try and arrange a rental from a OKW owner - start early.

Just out of curiousity are the BWV GV in similar high demand as well?

i would assume they are,Jaysue.i called yesterday to book our september vacationa and they had no GVs at either resort.

There are only 7 GVs at BWV (27 at OKW) but the point requirement is quite a bit higher. However, it does guarantee you a boardwalk view. I would think the BWV are at least as hard to get as those at OKW, maybe even harder with so few.
