OKW GV Room request

I need info on what building to request for a nice, relaxing water view. Anyone out there with info to share?

I don't want to be near bus noise or highway traffic.

In October, we were in Bldg. 63 in a GV for one night. It is near the entrance, but I heard no traffic noise. It was convenient to HH, overlooked a water hazard and a golf hole, and the canal area. It was one of the newer buildings, so it had an elevator.

We were in bldg 49 (there were two GV units in that building. I don't remember the number, but it was the GV furthest away from the highway). Even though the building looks close to the busy road, we could not hear any noise whatsoever (this was also a concern of mine). We had a very nice water view and could see the fireworks from Epcot (I think they were from Epcot) over the trees. We were also right next to the walking path that led to the Turtle Pond pool. It was a bit of a drive (and walk) from the front area, but it was a great location for a quiet relaxing vacation.

The GVs are pretty much in premium locations. I have stayed in many. The only one that I would prefer to not have again is the one in bldg 15. For exactly the reason you are worried about. Once the door was closed, it was fine, but if you were out on the balcony, the road was fairly loud.

I still never make a location request. We have found great things about each and every location we stayed in.
