7 month availability for Dec for a grand villa at OKW, am I dreaming or do any of you think I may get it?

dec is extremely popular/busy for DVC and OKW GVs are pretty popular due to the space and low point cost.

anything is possible in a down economy, but i would bet against getting a GV for december.

Availability thread only tells what the situation happened to be when the poster called MS. It could mean that nothing is posted for a GV at OKW for your dates because no one called for that particular time & size villa or if they did call perhaps they just didn't post on thread.

I'd have to agree with other posters that's it is a loooong shot, but call very first thing in morning day 7 month window opens - ya never know !

I booked three nights in an OKW grand villa at less than 7 months for this past Spring Break. So it can be done.

Marathon week will be difficult, but later in January should be possible at 7 months.

I got OKW GV 2009 the week after marathon at 6.5 months
