OKW Grand villa

We are looking for information on the Grand villas. Are all the villas on the 3rd floor? Are any elevator accessible? We will be traveling with small children and some adults that have trouble walking. Where would be the best place for us to stay. Any other info or suggestions for staying there? thanks

OKW GVs are two stories. The first story is the second story of the building. There is one gound floor GV and one elevator building that has 2 GVs in it (63). All other GVs are 2nd and 3rd floor of a building. That being said, we have traveled with elderly and small children in GVs and the stairs weren't much of an issue, since OKW has low rise stairs that are easy to negotiate. ALL the GVs at OKW would only have stair access to the second floor of the GV. Only the SSR GVs have elevator access to the second level.

The OKW GVs are VERY spacious (2375 Sq Ft, and more than 200 Sq ft larger than the other on-site GVs). The first floor living area is nearly double that of the 2 bedroom. There is a bath with a large walk-in shower in the downstairs hall as well as a large laundry room that could actually double as a childs bedroom, it's so large. The master of the GV is larger than the master of the 1, 2 bedroom units, and while the bathroom is a similar size, I like the layout of the 1-2 bedroom master baths better. The sleep sofa on the main floor is one of the new kind that has a very comfy foam type mattress and no bar. There is a full size dinning table in the dining room that seats 8 comfortably, and there is another round table in the living room with 4 decorative wicker chairs around it to use for dining as well. I don't particularily like the layout of the kitchen in the GVs at OKW, because the sink is up against the corner of the cabinets, and too close to the stove. It is definitely a "one butt" kitchen.

Upstairs there is a balcony/bridge that has a little chest/seat in it. The bedroom directly at the top of the stairs has two double beds and a nice full bath. The bedroom at the other end of the bridge is larger and has 2 queen beds and a full bath. That means that OKW GVs have 4 bathrooms, which is great if you have someone sleeping in the living room.
