OKW Grand Villa in May

I'm going to plan a family vacation in mid May of 2009. Do you think it will be hard to book an Old Key West Grand Villa at the 7 month window?

Book a two bedroom and studio at your home resort as soon as you are able. Then at 7 months out, see if you can change. You will fewer points at OKW for the GV than a GV at other resorts, so you don't want points that you will have to borrow and not be able to put them back into the use year.

Mid-May might be easier than late May. But if you are looking at Mother's Day, that could be harder to get.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing!

As for the GV at OKW at 7 months.... IT's a crap shoot for sure, so I would make the ressie at the home resort and try to switch at 7 months. That way, if you can't get it, you still have something. The other thing is that even though you might not get a GV at OKW, a 2 bedroom plus a studio will probably be possible at 7 months at OKW, and that might fill the bill for you too.
