OKW Grand Villa at 7 mos??

Does anyone know how difficult would it be to get a Grand Villa at OKW at the 7 month window for the first week in June? I am just trying to analyze points for my 2010 trip with extended family.

I'm not positive, but I would say that it will probably be a little hard .

Because the OKW GV require fewer points than any other GV, you are competing with lots of members. And OKW members may book them up before you get a chance.

Forgot to add, make a reservation at your home resort at 11 months out. Since your home resort probably takes more points, just get a two bedroom and a studio (it might be about the same number of points or close to it). Then at 7 months out, see if you can get the GV at OKW. Just cancel your reservations and book the GV at that time. That way you will at least have somewhere to stay if you can't get the GV. You may have to worry about banking points, though, if your first reservation uses more than the GV.

I agree with the previous posters. I was fortunate enough to get a GV at OKW at about 7.5 months out, and even got the building I requested!! However, that was the last week of January. Even though I believe that OKW has the most Grand Villas, you are talking about June, so it will probably be difficult.

But man, they are beautiful!!

We got one for September, but I'm guessing June would be more difficult.

I was able to get one a few months out in May, I don't think it would be impossible. Good luck!
