I am currently planning a trip to WDW next Aug and between resort switching, I am now considering OKW. I am in need of food info :)

I read the menu's on Allears and just need more info. Can I get CS meals here? What kind of breakfast stuff is offered? What about the pool... can I get beer there and also refillable mugs....

Not sure where to start, our usual trip includes getting danishes etc for breakfast. Having milk, OJ, beer, water and soda in the fridge. Eating CS or TS for lunch at the parks. Then having TS at a park or other resort for dinner. Maybe 2x during our trip we get CS at the reosrt. The last night we always have dinner at the reosrt we are staying at.

I started off at POR, then switched to YC and am now considering a 1bed villa at OKW.... Any help would be great as I am starting to make myself a bit nutty over this :)

olivia's is the TS there. We like it a lot.
We never do refillable mugs there, we just keep soda in the fridge in the room. It can be a long way to go to get them refilled if you aren't in an area near the Hospitality House.
the CS is very small ,but they do have Danish and the usual CS stuff. If you read the menu on allears, that lists the CS breakfast offerings.

The store also has a pretty good variety of food, but pricey.

We've just come back from OKW.

We were near turtle pond so refilled our mugs at the turtle shack - it was open 12 noon - 5pm. They did sell drinks and beer. Also saw someone getting margaritas there. Snacks like ice cream, hot dogs, chips.

We ate our last night at olivia's and were not impressed - worse meal of trip. Dessert, key lime pie was good - would maybe try again for breakfast.

Didn't eat at the main snack bar. It did the usual cs food - burger, chicken nuggets, sandwiches etc. Seating is outside at picnic tables. You could refil mugs yourself there. The bar, the gurgling suitcase is next to this.

The cs place was open for breakfast but not sure of the menu.

With having a fridge/taoster/coffee pot we ate in the room - alot easier.

We like DTD cs options so ate there alot for cs - only 5 mins by car from OKW.

DH and I were just at OKW in September. We ate at Olivia's and have in the past and we love it.

Now the Goods to Go CS there is another story. It's fine, but just OK. I'd rather hop on the boat to DTD and eat at EOS or WPE.

OKW is a lovely resort. It's so relaxing and wonderful!:lovestruc

We'll be at OKW next August as well!:wizard:

Goods to go has a very good, very large tuna sandwich on nice think multi-grain bread -- one of my favorites. Good fries too.

With a one-BR villa you will have a full kitchen. You can get all kinds of breakfast and frozen dinners at Conch Flats. You can also order regular supermarket food delivered from WeGoShop or Garden Grocer -- everything from produce to raw meat to canned goods to ice cream or other frozen goods.
