OKW drive or bus

I am going to be staying in OKW 2/26-2/28 (thanks to the DVC forum for the great deal) and will have a car. We plan on hopping between MK, AK, and MGM with DD7 and DS4 (double stroller and stuff). What is everyones recent experiance with time from OKW to the parks driving or Bus and from park to park driving or bus?

Old Key West busses are typically NOT very croweded, especially during the middle of the day. Very rarely do we have standing crowds on an Old Key West route...

Busses typically run every 15-25 mins for OKW... slightly longer intervals than most other resorts... Once the bus leaves OKW, the trip to the Epcot is 5 mins, MK is about 12 mins, Studios is about 9 minutes, and DAK is about 15 minutes.

At OKW you park right in front of your "home". You have a car--I'd say use it!! That way, if on a certain day you suddenly decide to shop at DD (or play miniature golf, etc) it's a snap to do that with a car.

With the ages of your kids, I would use the busses.We always use the bussses for the parks, and use our car for resort hopping and restraunts.We never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes for a bus at OKW in the 4 years we have been DVC members.

P.S. We will also be at OKW tomorrow(friday) for 6 days.

I'd say leave the driving to Tyler!

Stayed at OKW lat month. Most of the buses were those big wide handicapped new ones. Very easy to get your stroller on and off. Like Tyler said, buses not crowded at all.

We usually take the bus to MK all the time. We find it a pain to go to the TTC and then get on the monorail to MK. It is nice to have a car to get to the resorts for meals and such, or going to Downtown Disney, but if we are going to the parks only, sometimes it is just easier to take the bus.

Try to take the Trumbo Boat from OKW to Downtown Disney if you can; it is a very pleasant 20 minute ride to Downtown Disney.
