OKW Discovery Club

Hi all! Wanted to know if any of you have used the kids' Discovery Club at OKW. What did you think of it? Do DVC members get a discount? Any info would be great! Thanks!

I wasn't aware we had a Kids discovery club at OKW. My ds has done an activity or 2 at Community hall but that's about it

This is actually on the WDWINFO website if you start looking around at the resort info. Maybe it's old info - or they just don't call it the Disney Disc. Club anymore! I thought the scavenger hunts sounded like something my DS's would love.
Any info on cost?

Only thing I know for sure is that they have daily activity's at community hall. Some are free and some have a fee - usually DVC members have a smaller fee than guests if that helps.

Guess I'll have to check that out next time I'm there at OKW, next trip will be at BCV's though since the main pool will be closed during our stay so it'll be a while.

We got several messages from the community center indicating that they had outings for children--I think both times they were fishing expeditions which didn't really interest myDD

I seem to remember reading that the Discovery Club is at Hilton Head and Vero Beach. All I remember at Boardwalk and Old Key West are some craft activities, the Unbirthday Party and pool games. They sound like fun, but we're always in the parks at the scheduled times.

Good to know! Makes me want to go to VB even more! I can't wait to get down there to OKW and see what they have.
