OKW counter service not accepting dining plan ?

I would be interested in this too. They definately did accept it back in August so I would be surprised. Could it be the Turtle Pond Snack Bar??

Thats ok dont think you are being rude but I always look at trip advisor, some things you have to take with a pinch of salt but seems strange that someone who has been there would say that if there is no truth in it ?

Oops, I should have said I don't mean to be rude about Trip Advisor, not about you. :flower3:

It is odd and I don't suggest the person is making things up, but Disney clearly avertises that it is part of the DDP. I wonder, I don't know OKW, are there pool bars there that dont take the DDP, which maybe she confused with the CS location? :confused3 There must be a reasonable explanation.

Turtle shack pool snack bar definitely took the DDP end October. The menu has the DDP symbols and I saw people in front of me paying with credits (for mickey bars)

The main counter service place also has the symbols up but I didn't actually use the DDP there.

It's also worth keeping in mind that places that offer DDP snacks only, and not full CS meals, will not be listed on the DDP brochure so the snack bar would not feature on there. Similarly, when looking at a menu board at a CS location, the DDP symbol only features alongside snack items while all the entrees count as CS meals anyway.

Is it possible that the person who reported this had not been for some time or had perhaps visited before but not been on the DDP?

We just came back from OKW at the end of October and both goods to Go and the Turtle Pond snack bar took the DDP both for snacks and Counter service meals.
We have now booked for next year too , do not think it has changed

I don't mean to be rude but Trip Advisor is not always the most reliable source of Disney info.

Here is a link to the official 2011 Dining Plan Brochure. Olivias and Good Food to Go are listed for OKW. Remember that non-Disney owned restaurants will not be added to the list until the first week of January as they tend to negotiate their contracts with Disney until the end of December.

Sorry for hi-jacking this thread... but I'm thinking of DDP for my next trip (if it's still available then :lmao: ) and have printed out and kept the catalogue you posted a link to. Do none of the DTD restaurants operate on the DDP? Or is that what you meant by the "non disney" restaurants which will get added to this in January...

Sorry for being so dim, but not done DDP at all before! :confused3

Yes they should be all signed up by the new year. Work on this years list(below) then check the new list next year, hopefully they will all have been added by then.
