OKW - Closest Resort To There

Hi Everyone,

Just got confirmed on my 2 bedroom exchange for OKW for 1/1/06 - 1/8/06. My question is that another mom and 2 small kids might also want to come. What Disney resort is very close but not so expensive? We want to do everything together however I'm sharing the 2 bedroom with my sister and kids so they cannot stay with us. If this is any help children are ages 5 and 10.

I believe it's Port Orleans Riverside - (someone correct me if I am wrong) - Moderate Resort price wise.

Maybe your frineds could rent DVC points to make OKW an affordable option...otherwise, Port Orleans.

My parents stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter (& loved it) while we were at OKW. A car is nice then if you plan on swimming & eating together.
But, I would also recommend renting points for OKW. It would probably end up less expensive for a nicer room.
