OKW building request

We are planning a trip for Jan. Is there a specific area to request that would give us a canal view and still be in close/fairly close proxmity to hospitality hall. We would prefer canal view over closeness to HH but would still prefer both (if possible). what would be a good building to request?

Near HH is a booking category now at OKW, muck like a Boardwalk Voew at BWV. That area includes building 11 to 14 and 23 to 26, if you are booked into that category, there are no buildings with a canal view.

Building close to HH wih a canal view would be 27 to 29 (the view would be to the FRONT ENTRANCE of the unit, not the balcony), but the best canal views are bldgs 45, 46 and 55.

Hello Kristi, first of all, what size room do you need ??? I've stayed at OKW dozens of times and always ask for building 55, room #5511 or # 5512. They are one brm. rooms on the first floor and have great views of Trumbo canal. The two brms. are on the second floor and are room # 5521 or #5522 and also have great views of Trumbo canal. It's at south point where the water craft have to turn and take a corner around a point of land that sticks out in the canal, as the map above shows. If you check in early enough you may be lucky enough to get a place in building #55. Good luck !!! J.D.
