OKW - Boats and Walking to DTD

Hi.

Are the boats running yet from OKW to DTD?
Is the walking path open to walk from OKW to DTD?

Just booked February for 7 nights at 7 month mark and will add two more nights tomorrow and Monday. I could have gotten any resort I wanted today beginning February 7, with exception all nights at Riv. but Im using the rest of my 50% borrowing and wanted the longest trip possible so booked OKW for what will be 9 nights. Normally may have booked BWVs but we are stsying there in October.

Yes on boats and yes on walking path. Walking path is open during daylight hours. I think boats start at 10:00 AM.

About how long does the boat ride take from OKW to Disney Springs? And how long is the walk?

Google maps: From OKW Hospitality House, walking via SSR Nature Path to Earl of Sandwich (near the security entrance to DS) is 1.7 miles and would take 34 minutes. The boat ride would take similar, IMO, because you need to wait for the next boat. HTH.

You can also walk to DS West Side by not going over the bridge to the Treehouses but just continue on past the golf course and the surface parking lot.
