OKW bell services holding refridgerated items?

We are going to OKW in about two weeks--we can't wait!--and have a grocery stop scheduled on the way to the resort. Since we just became DVC members we aren't quite sure what to expect. If we buy milk, yogurt, etc. can bell services refridgerate the items until we can check in? I don't want to buy anything that will spoil. We should be getting to OKW around noon but there's no way to know when we'll be able to get into our studio. Has anyone done this before? Thanks!

OKW has a large refrigerator roomwhere they store your groceries. We never had any problems with food going bad but we've never done ice cream!

yes, they will give you a luggage claim ticket and they will refrigirate it for you. We did it last October.

Yes, when we went in February, we did the supermarket stop with Tiffany Towncar. (about 12 noon). Upon checkin, our items were refrigerated, until our room was ready after 4PM.

When we transferred over to BWV 4 days later, our luggage and some of the groceries we still had left, were refrigerated until we checked into BWV. The whole process went well and was very well organized.

So...while we went over to the Parks and then to ESPN for lunch, everyone else was taking care of us!

Just for your future reference, luggage services at all WDW resorts have the ability to keep perishible items refrigerated. WDW luggage services are by far the best I have ever experienced in any resort, anywhere.
