OKW and Magical Express

Stayed at OKW once and it was lovely. It was just us two-Grandma and Grandpa only, with a car (we're youngish Grandma and Grandpa though-can still do steps and all)

Anyway, want to have kids and grandkids join us next time. They would want to take advantage of Magical Express from airport. I would guess ME drops off at hospitality center...then what?...if their room assignment is far from HH would they need to lug bags, kids, strollers etc from HH. Is there any help to room frm HH. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

It's not a dumb question at all. Yes, ME drops off at the HH area. Bell services will help them get to their assigned building. They have those elongated golf carts that they use.

If Magical Express picks up the bags for you then they are trucked to your resort and delivered directly to your room. If you pick up your own bags and take them with you to the Magical Express bus then your bags will be put on the bus with you and you will need to get the bags from the bus when your are dropped off at the check-in area. I have not stayed at OKW yet but I assume they have transportation to your room available the same as SSR.

Bell Services loaded our party of 15, all of our luggage, our grocery delivery, our 3 packages sent ahead and our delivery from A Baby's Best Friend (which included a rocking chair!) into 2 vans and drove us to our adjacent 2BR villas. Then, they helped us schlep everything up the stairs. Then they helped us do the reverse when we checked out. Great service!

We've always had great experiences with bell services at OKW. Last year, we were assigned a lovely room on the third floor. Bellman brought all our bags up to our room, then started our groceries until my daughter looked into one of the bedrooms and found housekeeping had not finished cleaning the room! (Dirty linens everywhere)

So off we went. Bellman brought suitcases/groceries down the stairs, reloaded the golf cart again and off we went to another building on another third floor! But he wasn't phased a bit. Of course, we tipped him well.

Enjoy the time with your grandchildren. You're giving them precious memories to treasure.

Magical Express will send you luggage tags a couple of weeks before your stay and if you tag your luggage they will deliver it from MCO to your room. You will not need to use bell service at check in. On your departure you will be responsible to get your luggage to resort check in so you will need to contact bell services for that.
