OKW 2 BR - Ground level?

I saw the post asking about the 2BR layout and couldn't help but add...can anyone comment on the patios on the ground level units, specifically the 2 bedrooms? (assuming there ARE 2 BRs on the ground level). Our last OKW stay was in a 2BR and we requested ground floor but got second floor instead (which worked out okay) but DH's arthritis and all considered, we're hoping for ground level this time. Are the patios as big as the balconies on the upper levels, same furniture, etc.? Will we be too disappointed (I've heard the vegetation might be a problem?) and miss the view from the "top?" We're requesting building 24 or thereabouts, if that makes a difference...TIA!

We have stayed in a 2BR ground floor at OKW. That's the only time we've stayed there, so I can't tell you if the balcony is the same size or not, but it was good-sized, and there was a door both from the living area and the master bedroom. I believe there was a table and four chairs. We were in building 53. There was a lot of vegetation, so not much of a view, but we loved the peace and quiet of the area. I'm not one who requests views when booking a room, so it really doesn't make a difference to me. We loved the location of our villa, though, and being on the first floor was really convenient.

Yes, everything is the same. The only difference is that there are no steps to climb to get to the unit, and the balcony will be only slightly raised above the ground or right on the ground.

Just an FYI, many 2 bedroom ground floor units COULD be under a GV, and they tend to be very noisy, since the GVs have hardwood floors in the kitchen, dining, and living rooms. We have been in 2 bedroom units under GVs where the kids above sounded like elephants! Also had one where the kids were bouncing super balls at 5 AM. The chairs from the dining room table moving around above your bedroom can be disturbing also. Really depends on your upstairs neighbors.

We've stayed in a 2 bedroom ground level a couple of times. The balconies are the same size. As for overgrowth of vegetation----no. That seems to be the case for the ground floor studios mostly.

Maria, your pictures reminded me why I love the balcony on a ground floor unit! I love feeling a part of the action like that. We had one in building 13 that was very similar to that. The only ground floor 2 bedroom balcony I have ever had that was obsured by vegetaion was in building 29. There, you are close to the fairway, so they have plantings to protect you from flying golf balls. Even so, we found plenty of them near the balcony.

The ground floors are nice ! The ducks and other birds come right up to you ! My kids love this.

We were in a dedicated 2 bed room on the ground floor. We were below an occupied GV (they took up all the parking lot, but were pretty quiet, never heard a peep). It had a good sized balcony with a table and four chairs with room to spare. A few views from sitting on the patio:
