OKW 1 bedroom!

I've read about them, and we are giving one a try. I've changed our 4 night OKW studio stay for June. We had booked it to conserve points for our family vacation (3DGC and their parents, and my DMom and DSis, I am so excited!!!) at VWL in August.

There was 1 bedroom OKW availability, I did ask for first floor or elevator building to help me deal with walking down steps, I do OK walking up steps.

DH and I like to take people to share our DVC, but it is important to do things for ourselves as well. This is a "couple" trip, we do have a night at the BCV, a studio, (I want to be close to the Herman's Hermit's Flower Power concert), then this OKW stay, and then a beach stay at a Marriott. DH and I went back and forth, but he agrees that this is probably a good time to see what the buzz is about OKW's larger accomodations, and the picturesque atmosphere has beckoned us to go there.

You know, if this means that we will always "want" 1 bedrooms, so be it!!

Do I sense a case of addonitis developing?

We were late bloomers into DVC, and have had lots of experience adding on, we began with 200 and now have 550!

After we made airline tickets for Aug's DGC's trip, I told DH that we should sit and talk. His first words were "Do we need more points?" When I said "no" he said, "Good." What I did was propose the 1 bedroom, and he's ready to indulge ourselves a bit!
