OKW 1 Bedroom ?

Just wondering if the 1 Bedrooms have a shower in the bathrooms? I've only seen the whirlpool tub and while a nice soak at the end of the day is lovely I really need a quick shower to start my day. Do the 1 bedrooms have showers also?

Yes, there is a walk in shower and a jaccuzi tub.

The 1-bedrooms have a room with the whirlpool tub and a sink and then another room which houses the toilet, a shower and another sink with vanity.

Thanks for the quick responses....now just to convice DH that 1 Bedroom is better than the studio. He and I are very low key people and could do just fine in a studio but after seeing those pics of the renovated 1 bedroom...well you know

Be careful though - once you stay in a 1-bedroom, you won't want to go back to a studio.

Some of the 1 bedroom showers are H U G E !

The 1 bedroom is way different than the studio, it is absolutely large, luxurious, and when you sit in the living room you will wonder what you did to deserve such a spacious kingdom of your own.

The master bathroom is fit for that same kingdom.

Hmmmm, just what I was hoping for. Once I get him in one he'll never be able to go back!

It's way better! One of my favorite DVC memories is the first time my mom and I stayed in an OKW 1 bedroom (our first DVC stay). She thought I was nuts to buy DVC. When we got into the room she walked around literally with her mouth open! She could not believe it! When we got home, I heard her telling people about "our apartment"! I could certainly live there!

yep, the washer and dryer is one of our favorite amenties. We love packing less and going home with clean clothes.

I did just after you posted it....we will be fine in the studio, save points etc was his answer. I think actually seeing it and having the space to spread out...he can watch NFL while I have a nap will help me turn the tide so to speak. I like the idea of being able to cook at our leisure, not having to lug laundry to the laundry room. Since we bought as the idea that DVC would be our retirement vacation every year I really would like to move up to the 1 bedroom. I've got a few years before that time will come but I'm ready to upgrade now!

We completely agree. Our 8 year old DS passed up a studio at BLT to have a one bedroom at OKW because we got spoiled with the one bedroom at SSR.

Think I could easily convince the kids as it would mean they could sleep away from the snoring Apparently we are both quite bad in a small room. Will keep working on DH.

Try to get him to try it "just this once" and if he really doesn't like it then you'll go back to the studio next trip. I'm pretty sure he'll find it worth it especially since you have two kids too.
Since we have two kids and we usually stay in a 2bd, I would rather stay in the 1bd for one less night than stay longer in a studio if points are a big concern.
