These are my two home resorts.
OKW's unit is a lot bigger. The kitchen/living room is very spacious. We didn't use the pullout at VWL, but it looks as if it would be a bit tight in there when opened.
At OKW, the dining area is a large table and 4 chairs, at VWL it's a small table for two, with a kitchen counter that can accommodate 2 more.
At OKW, there's a laundry room with a full sized washer/dryer. At VWL, it's a stacked W/D that's in a closet.
The bathrooms are laid out much differently. At OKW, the jacuzzi is in the same room as a sink, with the shower/toilet and second vanity in an adjacent room. Depending on when the unit was built, there may or may not be a second access through the laundry room. If it does not, anyone needing to use the bathroom must enter it through the master bedroom.
At VWL, the toilet is in a small room off of the shower/sink area. There's a vanity/sink next to the jacuzzi. Access is easy from anywhere in the unit.
The balcony at OKW is much larger. As far as the master bedrooms go, again OKW is larger, but I wouldn't say that VWL's is small.
As I said in the beginning, we own at both, and we like both of them for different reasons. Both are very peaceful settings, both have a lot to offer but VWL has an edge due to it's proximity to WL and all of the amenities that resort has to offer.
It's always a hard decision, but that's the beauty of
DVC. There's always another trip to plan and another opportunity to experience a different resort.
