The Okies 
Me 33 Loves to plan,and plan. This trip was right up my alley
DH Firefighter, along for the ride
DS1 8 going on 30 Needs to know the agenda everyday
DS2 5 carefree and excited about everything
Day one
DH was at the firestation on Christmas Day,so got home around 7:15 am, packed and on our way to the airport by 7:45. Southwest was right on time
so we were off by 10:45, 3 hour layover in Houston. After 2nd security check of the day, I bet by husband listens next time on not wearing laceup
cowboy boots. Arrive in Orlando at 6 and BIL picks us up to take us to our hotel. The boys think we are going to AS sports but I got a code price at
AKL that was to good to turn down. This was great because oldest DS wanted to stay at AKL in the first place and even offered his WDW savings to
stay one night. After this it was really hard for me to keep it secret, but told
him we were having dinner there on first night, Hence BIL not going straight
to AS sports. When DH starts to take luggage out of van the boys put two and two together and go ballistic :jumping4: , and yes I got it on video.
Checked in and got the room we requested 3515, which I still can't believe we got it. The resort was
at first sight, even DH said WOW!! Got
to our room, and apologize to anyone by our room that we disturbed, needless to say the boys went wild when they realized we had a savannah
view room. This might be my favorite magical moment of the trip, pat on back for mom
. We had a PS at Boma's for 7:50 ( see I really didn't
lie). Glad we had PS because without was a 1 1/2 hour wait. Loved the buffett and Zebra domes and other desserts. YUM YUM!!!
After dinner checked out the resort, night vision goggles, the pool of course
since my boys have gills, and went back to the room and hit the hay. We
had a busy day at AK and Epcot the next day.
