And I need to ask my question differently... lol

Lets say on Monday I turn in all my Tent and Nemo chair PDFS and NOT the quests... Then Tuesday I turn in all my quests.... then Wedensday I turn in teleportation PDF

Can that be done using the same tickets? Or once the tickets were scanned on Monday that's it for 90 days on those tickets, and I could not turn in things the rest of the week...

THanks bunches!

I can only speak for my experience AND what is printed on the quest materials - and remember this is DL, not WDW.

The simple answer:
(1) of each quest cards per quest per person per 90 days.
Elements to watch:
- unique quest
- unique "reward" card (code)
- unique person
- each 90 days
At Disneyland, you could have turned in tent, nemo, teleportation pdfs AND quests all on the same day. The fine print at the bottom of everything spells it out for you - in "legaleze" of course.

My experience:
I turned in my pdfs and my quests on the same day. My ticket was scanned and I was given the corresponding cards. My pass was scanned, making it such that I would not be able to redeem those quests or pdfs again for ninety days.

THEN - the next day I went back with the same quest papers and a family members ticket (which I had forgotten the previous day). I explained it was for my relative, not me and handed over his pass. I was given another complete set of all quest cards and they scanned his pass - making it such that he could not redeem those quests or pdfs again for ninety days.

Example:
Now, let's say I had completed the 50th Celebration Quest and the Tomorrowland Quest. I would have a few options.

Long spelled out answer based on above scenario:
1. I could take all my family members' passes with ONE quest brochure for 50th Quest and ONE quest brochure for Tomorrowland Quest and get double cards for both quests. Neither of those individuals would be allowed to get more quest cards for THOSE TWO QUESTS for 90 days. (If a new quest were to come out in those 90 days, it could be completed and cards could be collected for those people.)
OR
2. I could take all passes for one quest on day one and get cards for that quest. The system would then indicate that those individuals cannot get cards for THAT quest for another 90 days. Then I could redeem the other quest on day two and get cards for that quest. Again, the system would not allow those individuals to get cards for THAT quest for 90 days.
OR
3. I could take one passes for all quests on day one and get cards for ALL quests for THAT pass. Then one day two I could get cards for ALL quests for the OTHER pass. (This is similar to what I did when I forgot my relatives pass on day one. In this situation, the individuals would not be allowed to get cards for THOSE quests for 90 days - one day apart from each other.

That is the spelled out answer.

Now, the pdfs, I THINK - and do not have one in front of me to confirm, that each pdf can only be redeemed once. One pdf, one pass, one time. However, I am unsure on this as I do not have one right here. If I find my old one, I will revise the above as needed.

The bottom line of it lies in the spirit of the rules: They do not want someone hoarding cards. So essentially it is one of each "item" (card / bracelet / etc...) per person per ninety days.

Oh, and remember that the cast member helping you at VMK has rules to follow. They should follow them. Does not mean you cannot hit your lucky day and get one that bends the rules a bit. ;)

Does that help? (or just make it way more confusing? :lmao: )

Hope it helped! Ask any questions you may have.

(and after reading this entire thing, if anyone comes home with an extra animal kingdom code and / or Kali Raft Chair code - well, you know :) )

I would like you to clarify please....

you can only use one printout for each of the quests for up to four tickets?? :confused3

so say I have 9 tickets and only one printout for Tommorowland I still will only be able to get 4 packs of cards??? :confused3

I know with Thrillseekers you MUST have one printoff per ticket.

Am I understanding this right??

thanks :)

Mal

Hi Mal,

Excellent question based on what I wrote. When we went, I was with three others. Therefore we had four passes. I should have said, "you can get one per ticket or pass that you have." In your example above, my understanding is that you would be able to get nine of each card with one quest brochure.

What you mentioned above regarding Thrill Seekers requiring one printoff per ticket I am not aware of. This is not the case at DL. At DL they let you use one quest printout or brochure for all tickets/passes, but I do not know at WDW.

Did this help clarify? I hope so. If not, let me know where I can clarify!

Hey jazstar87 -

I did not see anywhere on your "am I missing anything?" list the cards that you can get from the stores. I pulled this list from the sticky at the top of the boards.

These are cards that you get as a special "gift with purchase" from various stores.
Series 1 (6 cards)
1 - Fantasyland Magic Mirror (only available in Disneyland) (see above)
2 - Happiest Celebration On Earth Pin (MK: buy a pin from the Trading Post in Frontierland)
3 - Golden Mickey Ears (MK: buy a hat at the Chapeau on Main Street)
4 - Frontierland Wanted Poster (only available at WDW) (MK: buy a photo from Splash Mountain or Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters)
5 - Retro Mickey T-Shirt (MK: buy a shirt at Sir Mickey's in Fantasyland)
6 - Disneyland Retro Penny Press (MK: buy candy from the Trading Post in Frontierland)

And, if you bring home an extra Wanted Poster, I will trade you a Magic Mirror from Disneyland. :)

Have fun!
