I hope someone can help me out cause this is a real struggle for me ;)

I want to get some different scents now for the fall/winter season but the jars that I have still have a lot of life left in them (I'm not home during the day and the evenings have been busy so I don't burn them every day).

My question is...can I put them away and bring them back out like in the spring and they will still have alot of scent left in them or am I sunk and will just need to start over and pitch these now or burn them until they are just gone???? I still have the lids for them so that wouldn't be a problem but I'm dying to go get some fall scents but don't want to waste the ones I've got now if I can't put them away to bring out later.

Signed,

Yankee Candle Flunkie!!!! ;) :D

Oh yes, keep them! I've stored mine for over a year and they are still OK. Just keep them in a dark place without humidity. The hall closet works well.

Oh yes, they last a LONG time.
I rotate mine every month, store the others with lids on in a closet.
I don't burn that often, especially in the warm months. I have some jars that are a couple years old and they still smell just as good.
gotta love them Yankees :teeth:

Also, if you have any tarts or votives keep them sealed in an airtight bag like a ziplock. I switch mine out and have had some of mine for a couple of years.

I've got a large jar that was a discountinued scent from about five years ago. I still bring it out each fall and light it occasionally. I think this year will be the last one I can stretch it out over. :( They hold their scent great!
