Okay... So what is your Username About?

Mine is so boring - my initials. My first name is Mary Ellen and it is old fashioned and long, so I often sign emails and refer to myself as MEK. Much easier!

We were on the Disney Magic watching one of the shows and noticed that the actress/dancer that played Mulan was not very convincing. She was kinda short and dumpy looking. I commented to my DH that I would make a better Mulan! And he said I should as my second job! Hence, Mulan2 is my screen name and yes, you can guess my ethnicity!

Back when I joined , many people used their screen name from aol. If I change it from my last name I lose my join date and posts, I already lost them once.. Pretty silly! Nancy

well- I have kids, and I am... to put it nicely, careful with my money. Actually when I joined the DIS back in 2000 I was joining to see if I could afford a family trip to WDW- so I spent most of my time on the Budget Board. So the name was fitting.

My alias is tenthousandvolts- that is actually my son's screenname that I had been using- it is the name of my daughter's band. The band got its name from the scene in Jurrasic Park where they are climbing the 10,000 volt fence when the power comes back on.

Mine is pretty self explanatory...I am a lady who is always busy! This spelling was the only way I could get it to work years ago when I was on AOL and it has remained with me ever since. This is how I am known on chatboards, Ebay, and my new license plate.

Mine is uber boring. DH found the DIS right after we bought our first contract and he started the account...it's his initials and some random numbers that have no significance. I stole his account instead of starting mine and have been slk537 ever since.

My real name is Jenn and I hate that my screen name has no personality...

I believe mine is pretty obvious. 106 is our house number.

ROLL TIDE!!!

Roll Tide, indeed!

So my boys were both expecting children at the same time, and they asked my wife and I what we wanted the grandkids to call us. I thought on it and said I wanted to be the Grandbuddy.

Name's Jerry, to other adults.

I'll third that Roll Tide!

BTW, in deference to Silver Queen corn, all of us Alabamians know that Burris Farm Market in Loxley, AL, on Hwy. 59 just south of I-10 is the best place to get it.

Mine's somewhat exotic. In one of my many real (or not so real) lives, I am a fiction writer. Brogan McGill is a character I invented for one of my stories. She's a modern day writer turned time traveller/adventurer. If you google the name you'll find her stories, as she was written purely for fun and is therefore in the public domain.

I have a host of other characters I use for public web forums. When I entered the internet world I learned the merits of using pseudonyms to keep one's self insulated from the crazies. I also happen to make my living on the net, so if you know my true name you can find a wealth of info about me.

But Brogan is a name I answer to in public (at least at Disney) because she's known so well here. FWIW I chose her name because she takes after the Irish side of my family.

And since she's existed I often get e-mail from folks just liking the name and wanting to know more about it for their kids. It's funny.

My favorite character is Minnie and my nickname is Gi so put it together and I become MinnieGi!!

Mine is extremely boring, but when I picked it, I had not paid much attention to how creative other people were! So, it's my initials and the number 1...I always kind of liked the way my initials sound, and coupled with my husband, we are "Slick Kick" (SLK KCK)!

Mine is Beaslyboo, a childhood nickname. I'm Bea, short for Beatrice and when the Mrs. Beasly dolls (Family Affair) came out, I was done for! Thank goodness I didn't need glasses till I was 14.

I remember Mrs. Beasley! Cute

Branca neve is Snow White in Portuguese. I love Snow White and the English version was taken so I had to go to my roots on this one!

Pocahontas has been a nickname of mine since the movie came out. I was a sophomore in highschool when the movie came out and all my friends joked about how much I resembled her.

When I joined the Dis, I wanted a fun, Disney inspired name...so I chose pocahontaslookalike :)

In 1997/1998 I worked at Epcot in World Showcase as part of something called the "World Showcase Fellowship Program". It was a year long program for some of the international CM's that work in the pavillions. Basically a sub-set (about 60 per year) of the general international programs crowd with more requirements to attend seminars, give presentations, attend community events, etc.

Unfortunately, this specific program no longer exists, but it was great when it was going. I got to tour Animal Kingdom as a nearly complete construction site, meet Dick Nunis (for anyone who knows who this is), go to local schools to talk about our home countries, attend seminars from several branches of the WDW organization in all the corporate lounges hidden around Epcot, etc. etc. It was a great year of Disney for me.

Anyway, this all adds up to my name of Fellowship9798.
