Sorry, I find posts by teenagers to be extremely annoying. I hit the back button as soon as I realize it's a teenager. I don't read complaints or trip reports or dining reviews put out by teenagers. I'm an adult and want to correspond and talk with adults. The teenagers have their own board and should stay there.

Shoot half the time, us teens are more mature than the freaking adults! My mom has told me about tons of threads with immature babies getting bent out of shape when someone disagrees with them and threads turning into fights and what not. And I thought us teens were bad. PUH-LEEZ!

Hehehe, I posted this over on the CB in response to an adult's thread about the TB.

"I would like to post on behalf of the Teen Board.

I am 19 years old and have been a member of the DIS since I was 14. When I joined, I could not find a more supporting, loving group of people. The teens join to find friends who share similar interests. Some come to vent their problems to the ONLY PEOPLE WHO WILL LISTEN. Those adults that seem so mature are the ones who turn their attention away from their so-called "bratty/whiney" teens who must come here to find acceptance. (Luckily, I am not one of those people. I have loving, supportive parents who are my best friends).

These teens are still trying to figure out who they are. As the OP said, we discuss Disney, movies, music, pop culture, deep political issues, etc. You name it, we run the gamut.

Namely, these "kids" are still trying to figure out who they are. Therefore, please, when referring to immature adults, do not liken them to the TB. They are not us.

Are there some immature people on the TB? Yes, of course. Are there some immature people on the CB? Yes, of course. Are there some immature people on the DIS? OF COURSE! There are immature people around the world. But not everyone is alike, and most of the teens are mature young adults who support one another, argue intelligently, and occassionally vent frustrations. I know I will continue to post there even after I am 19.

I'm totally going to post on Jenny's new CB thread, because I'm getting tired of this too. I don't post on the community board as much as I used to, but I lurk. And some of the things they say about us over here at the TB are unnecessary and mostly untrue. These two people really ticked me off, they're like, "Don't you have SCHOOL tomorrow?" and "Go back to the teen board where you're attitude will fit in better." That's basically saying that we're all childish, and each one of us are exactly the same...immature. Jeez.

Came here from the CB thread. My only complaint and this is everywhere...spelling...spelling.

I'm so tired of the lack of spelling on the dis in general it's annoying. I'm dyslexic, so I can actually catch misspellings faster than most and it's frustrating.

Jenny, you did a great thing. Way to go!
