Hey there again,

I was just looking at the Character Meet N Greet avaliable for Disney Visa cardholders on chase.com and on Disneyrewards.com. According to Disneyrewards.com (the official Disney Page) it says "3. Offers valid through 9/30/07. Present a valid Disney Rewards Visa Card for special offers or entry into the Character Meet 'N' Greet Event..."

According to Chase.com it says "Disney and Me:
Opening on July 8th, 2005, Cardmember-exclusive Character Meet ‘N’ Greet event with keepsake 5x7 photo. Initially offered every day at Epcot®, Innoventions West from 1:30pm to 4:30pm1
*Disney and Me valid 7/08/05 through 9/30/06. Present a valid Disney’s Visa® Credit Card from Chase for entry into Disney and Me..."

So does anyone know which it is Sept 06 or sept 07? Is there any signage in the parks? Has anyone heard anything? Just need to know if we need to set aside time for this.

I've only seen '06. If it was 07 I'd be thrilled, as we are going in October and will miss the 06 cut off!

The web-sight just has not been updated with the new dates most likely will happen when the current ( 9/30/06 ) expires .

The new date is the 07 as they have had great returns with it.They are also using it as a marketing tool so they do have to offer it if thats what they use to get you to take the card in the first place.

We have used it at both DL and WDW and it is a great no rush many pictures ask what you want perk. The rest are all put on your regular photopass card that you can add to the CD or view and buy on-line

Hi can someone explain what this is. I would surely sign up if it means my kids get to meet more characters without any lines.

That would be great if they extended it! Did it last year and it was great! This year, my DH got a card - would we be able to get two different free pixs since we have 2 different cards, or is it one per household?

It's one per account per day. So if you both have separate accounts then yes you can get 2 free pics. On the voucher they give you to turn in the put the last 4 digits of your card on it.

You go into a private room in Inovation west and meet with one but most of the times 2 different characters with just your family . We had them take about 15 to 20 pics on most of our visits with no problem. The interaction is great and not rushed. We have been kucky and seem to catch it when it's no one else in line.

can someone explain exactly where this is located, is it easy to find??? also, does the free 5x7 pic go on your photopass or is it given separately?? thanks!

if it was easy to find, everybody would want to do it. :rotfl2: its located in a very discreet and hidden room in inoventions just behind the fire engine. you go show them your card and if there is no wait you go in. IF there is you get your name put on a waiting list.

As of now the regular schedueled characters are the VIP's the most character you can get are three. when i was in that area it was usualy Mickey and Pluto, then Goofy minnie and on occation Donald.

In Feb 2006 I looked and looked and couldn't find it. I even went in and asked at two different places and no one knew what I was talking about. I finally gave up and did the regular meet n greet. :confused3

I'd like to know this too! Thanks!

They put all the pics. on your photopass . Then (and this is very important) Before you leave THAT NIGHT stop at the Kodak store across from the SSE and pick what 5X7 you want to take free out of all the pics taken from the M & G.

That one as well as all the others will stay on your PPC to view or buy at a later time or put on the CD if you wish.

Remember it's only from 1:30 to 4:30 pm other then that it just looks like a curtained off room ( would never even know it was there.

When you go into Inoventions West from the front ( SSE side ) go to your right and it's past the FIRE TRUCK the rope will be on your right. If you come in the back ( theLand area) go around to the left and it's where they have the cones set up for the Segway tour right past that on the left.

Just ask for the Fire Truck thats the easiest way.

It's funny that we never noticed the Fire Truck before, but when we asked for directions, everyone said, Just look for the Fire Truck! They were right!!

PS. Is this an extension or a new offer? Can you use a card that you used last year for a free photo?

Not really sure as the web-sight has not been updated yet .

But I did use mine in DL and then 2 times at WDW on different trips .They just look at the expire date and write the last 4 digits on your voucher so I don't see how they could tell if it's a new account or not.

We have gotten about 5 or 6 free pictures in the last year, anytime we are at EPCOT during the right hours we go get a picture. It is funny for me to look at as I have found that more often than not we have regular Disney outfits- no matter when we are generally wearing the same clothing or close to it.

This wasn't my experience at all. They had us in and out so fast it made my head spin!! I wasn't sure what had happened! We walked in, the photographer snapped about 7 pictures in rapid succession of the same pose and we were ushered out. No character interaction, no trying to get a nice shot, no conversation with the photographer. In, snap, out. I left there wondering what happened to the "Meet and Greet" part. Plus all the pictures were distant and completely unproffessional appearing. It was FREE though. To us anyway, I'm sure VISA pays dearly.
