Okay, now I am getting scared

I am trying to go in November, and Mouseplanet says that the Matterhorn will be down for refurbishments. But, I cannot find anything on the actual Disneyland Website that shows it down in September (it is supposedly going down in August). How does Mouseplanet have this info, and when will it be on the Disneyland website? I really want to ride it, so I would like the official word as soon as possible, so that I can postpone my trip until it will be open.

Nevermind! I was too stupid to realize that the month didn't change when I tried to pull the September calender! I just hope it will be open closer to the middle of November, not the end!

I think you're worrying unnecessarily about the crowds at the DLR. Even though I'm a Michigan resident I used to be an AP holder at the DLR as I used to travel to southern California frequently on business. As mentioned above, I recommend subscribing to the RideMax software. I have used it twice now when taking family members to the DLR and it worked like a charm. Get there early...as early as an hour before park opening...and employ RideMax tips for getting a jump on the crowds. Take full advantage of the FP system. I was last there on Friday, 6/16 and the crowds at DL were very tolerable. DCA was the slowest I've ever seen it. No line at all at most attractions. We were able to ride California Screamin', get off and get right back on. Soarin' Over California's queue didn't start to build until mid-afternoon and then it was only a 30-minute await. Avoid Saturdays and holidays at DL. Go! Enjoy! You'll love the DLR!! :thumbsup2
