Friday was DD's birthday. Short background.
In my moms family we have my grandmother in a wheelchair, great aunt whose 83 with asthma, my mom and my aunt with serious balance issue's. my apartment is up 2 flights of stairs..
Okay fast forward
I call my aunt and ask to have the cake/ice cream at her house monday as my grandparents live with her.....she says sure thing.
Tonight, my aunt with the balance problem calls and this is our conversation
"hey i'm sitting here at D's with andrea and we want to turn dani's bday party into a costume party, do the girls already have their costumes?"
"ummmmmmm huh?" (thats me)
"yeah we were thinking we've already called everyone and they agree"
I was so taken aback I didnt know what to say. They dont have their costumes yet, they have Mike & Sully at their fathers, but I doubt they'll fit (that was 2 years ago)....
She says- do you have a theme or is this okay?
my reply- well since its a school night, it was suppose to only be cake and ice cream, short and sweet
she didnt get the hint..
should i call her back and tell her it's not a good idea? I dont have money to go buy new costumes this week........ ***

Okay I called the aunt back- she was next door at my other aunts..aunt 3..said- the girls costumes dont fit, we dont have the new ones, so lets just keep it cake/ice cream...after all, her birthday is 3 weeks BEFORE halloween....
Aunt 2 called back- said "aunt 3 has tons of witch stuff, the girls can borrow it" to which I reply
thats great, but they go to their fathers tomorrow, I dont get them back until Monday after school, I dont have time to be running around getting costumes together...
I think it's a dead issue.
And then the phone rings again- its aunt 3- They've moved Dani's party to her house- next door to aunt 1 who i asked in the first place. why? who the hell knows.
she asked if I was doing anything special- yeah, cake/ice cream.
"is it a halloween cake?"
why would it be its her birthday = that was my reply as by this time I'm pissed.
"okay well I'll make an halloweenie punch"
Its a school night, thats why it was suppose to be cake/ice cream and thats it......
Dani just came out here- crying......"its suppose to be my birthday party mommy, why is it now a halloween party?"
ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh im so freakin livid............
