Okay Laugh. The Airline actually LOST my luggage

Too well I know the dull thud that luggage makes when it's tossed unceremoniously on the front porch at 3 a.m.

At least I was awake when ours showed up (11:00 PM).
THis must cost the airlines a bit of $$ tho--I live in Glen Rock Pa. and they had to get the luggage all the way from BWI. PLus the fellow had SIX more bags to deliver before he returned!!

lol! I know that sound too! Silly me I thought someone was trying to get into my house.

This happened to us twice with SWA on our way home. First time was ds's car seat ( in a zippered bag) returning from MCO. Then again returning from PHX. Of course of the 3 bags we checked, it was the one with our wet/slightly muddy clothes from Slide Rock St. Park in Sedona. Yuck!

Before that twice with USAirways. With them it's always Philly that screws up and we don't get our things at our vac. destination. They are so notorious for that w/ a huge article in our Sunday paper about it but I digress...

I agree w/ pp who mentioned putting valuables in checked luggage (Tom Tom). Anyone stealing my luggage gets clothes and toiletries.

Unless it's been a few days, don't call it 'lost', it's just delayed.
