I'm watching The Princess Diaries on TV. The only time I ever see movies any more is when they're played on network TV. And even then, I rarely actually watch them... just turn themon and ignore them!

Good morning, all. Hope everyone had nice v-days, b-days, etc.

I can report that I have now seen the 6 year old when he ws *not* on good behavior, and it wasn't too bad. And today, for our "no kids" valentine's date we're going to a hockey game. I've never seen a hockey game (he's played and *broadcasted* them) --any tips, anyone?

DD and I had a lovely time at the ballet last night. I'm so glad I spent the evening with her.

What an amazing night last night! A couple weeks ago I mentioned to him that I love V-Day, but that I think it is way too commercialized. I was curious what he would do with that. When I got to his place last night, he had glasses of wine, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a dozen roses (with THE longest stems I have ever seen) on his table. And then he cooked dinner!! What a man! The only bad thing was that he had rounds early this morning.

PW, I hope that you have a absolutely wonderful birthday. I can't wait to try your cake! It looks too good to eat.

He is such a good sport. I also got him a pair of Calvin Klein boxer-briefs (black with a red waistband - I couldn't find solid red)....so he gave me a fashion show!! He actually liked both of them, but I do think we both liked the Calvin's more. Even though there is more to them, they just seem sexier! And they have some lycra in them so they feel sexy too!
