Okay...I've Called the Late Night DISers, Now I'm Calling the Single DISers (Part 2)

{{hugs}} pw on your anniversary...that has to be hard. I've been so busy. Tomorrow is the last day with the kiddos. My room is all packed up ready to move to my next classroom. Now just working on my house to pack up. Bought Bri a twin bed that I need to go pick up, but can't do that till I back up one of the rooms. Hopefully will have time this weekend. I'm ready for a vacation.

Thanks, Suzanne! And congrats on making it to the end of the school year. :) I know Richard is counting the days. And good luck with the move.

Nothing exciting here. Same stuff, different day.

Hi guys, I'm back! The trip was just okay. The competition was cool, but we really flopped on our presentation and didn't get any award placings. :( We tried to have fun despite that fact, but things got pretty tense in the group. Today things were going fine until we got to our final destination and some people's luggage was missing! :0 So, yah, I'm back now. It's weird knowing that it's Wednesday. :p

Brianna's graduating from kindergarten today and then tomorrow I get to go on a fieldtrip with her for the end of the year. That's why I need to get all signed off today. Tomorrow is suppose to be a teacher workday, but I'm not going in. :)

Hi, Bea! Welcome back! Sorry your group didn't place, but hope you had a lot of fun any way. :)

Have fun on the trip, Suzanne. Getting out of a teacher workday! Way to go!! :)

DS...the little stinker!! His grades have been terrible this year compared to others. Even his teacher said he could do much better. So a couple weeks ago we made a deal on what he can get at the end of the school year if he brings the grades up to what I want. The stinker! This week I signed a report for Lanugage Arts with a 94 on it, a 100 on a Science quiz, and a 100 on a project that counts for Science and for Computers. What's the problem with working like this all year and not just at the end for a deal? Geez!

It's that age too...so much going on with the hormones and everything. Next year should be better :)

I hope next year is better. :) This year has been very strange. And after dinner tonight he was bike riding with another kid in the neighborhood. I went downstairs and heard a noise. I went out in the sunroom to get something, and here's DS climbing out his bedroom window into the sunroom.  I asked him why he didn't just come in the house and go out through the door. He didn't know. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!! PLEASE tell me the brain cells will be back!!!!!!!!!!!! He was getting something in his room to take outside.

Kids...why do we have them again;) I had Brianna's Kindergarten graduation today and I cried. It was very emotional. The one thing I hate about these things though is I have the video camera in one hand to tape the program and the camera in the other to take the pictures. I probably look quite foolish.

No, you didn't look foolish. You looked like a proud mom!!! :teeth: Those special events can get you for sure. We have them for zillions of reasons! :) DS had a graduation from pre-K...

Awww, what a cute pic, PW!
Congrats, FM on your DD's graduation! :)

Thanks, Bea! :)

Bought me a new toy...a GPS! As soon as I read on how to use the thing :teeth: we'll be treasure hunting. :) Hmmmmmmm...maybe we'll hunt in VA Beach if we get there tomorrow.

Did that once with some friends. It was incorparated into a scavenger hunt which was tons of fun. Enjoy!

Thanks, Suzanne! :) Can't wait. Every time I go to that web site, it's an easy 2 hours. :teeth: I've printed out a couple to try tomorrow. I'm not hitting the ones that say...WARNING, WATCH FOR SNAKES! :faint: No thanks! LOL!

Oh, it went great!!! Did not find what I was looking for on the first search. The person that set that one up said don't expect to as a newbie. LOL! Says it's non-traditional. Okay...so no ammo box, tupperware, etc. Possibly a fake rock! Aha! Will have to go back next weekend. But we took a nice walk through a park on the second search. Found it in the woods...took a lottery scratch-off ticket and left $1 as requested! :teeth: Won $8!! LOL! I wonder if that covers the gas. It was in a really nice area of Virginia Beach. Richard wanted to know if we could move into one of the three-car garage homes. LOLOL! I told him...not in this lifetime! ;) He said he wants to live in one. So I told him he better have plans to go to college directly from high school if he wants that. ;) Took the scenic route going and coming back. WOW!! Spectacular view of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel!!! Stopped at Starbucks on the way. It's a GORGEOUS area!! So I think this will be a hobby we both like! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :magnify: Went searching a couple other places, nothing yet. I had a friendly bug on me when I got home that day, so I'm putting off looking in the woodsy places. But there's one at the mall, and I'm hunting for that! :)

Did you have a good weekend?

Anything exciting this weekend? There's a concert at Ft. Monroe so thinking of going there for that. Better take some last pictures since it's on BRAC's cut list. :( :worried:   Not sure what else just yet. DS is looking forward to school ending at 10:30 a.m. (why bother!) on Wednesday...I'm not!! ;)

We are heading out to the beach for a week....kind of. I have to come back Monday, Tuesday and Wed for some training which is :( but it should be fun anyways

Definitely not good beach weather on this coast of FL. It's been days and days of rain. I hope it's better on your coast. :sunny:
I have to drive dd to see her dad. We meet halfway. I was going to drive all the way down to where I moved from to see a couple friends but I don't feel like going there. Don't miss it. I just want to be home. Nothing exciting here except maybe furniture shopping and a movie. Oh, and maybe I should unpack more boxes. But I just love being home. :goodvibes
