I'll be at Epcot this weekend. Have you done the butterfly and ladybug release? What's it like and is it worth seeing/doing?
Did you see/smell the fragrance perfume garden?

Sounds great! I know the hospital I worked at went all out for the nurses. What did the secretaries get on secretaries' day? A disposable pen and a bagel. LOL!

I was thinking this morning. Actually, it was yesterday when it hit me while scheduling something in my phone for today. When the date May 4 was staring at me, it hit me that today is 10 years since my mom died. That doesn't seem possible. And I don't think it was this cold back then! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm freezing. I've been living in jeans and sweatshirts the past two days.

Don't feel bad. The hospital I worked at before this one only gave the nurses one of those squeeze things for when you're stressed. It was actually like a small balloon filled with sand.

Sorry to hear about your mom. It must be hard to have both of your parents gone Those anniversaries can hit hard.

Weather is nice here. Feels a tad cooler

Thanks. It's been an okay day actually. But I sure do miss having them here to talk to.

Eight more boxes unpacked and out of here today. I'm starting to see the light. LOL! I'm no longer worried about the possibility of the loft caving down to the first floor from the weight. Ha! A few more to go. Hopefully, just a couple more garbage days. Now I'm throwing out lots of stuff. Wondering why I've held on to things for years. And I'm getting rid of things from a "past" life. Hmmm...interesting. Some things I just don't want to keep or see any more. It's strange.

I've never done either, but want to do the butterfly and ladybug release. It's done at certain times and I've never been able to time it right. Are you going to be there for Sunday. They usually do free Mother's Day pictures.

Yes, we are doing the Mother's Day Brunch on Sunday. We eat at 10 and the butterfly release is at 11. So I don't think we'll be able to make that. But I think the ladybugs are at 12:30 & 2:30. Just wondering how many they released. If one person did it or the kids got to do it. That will be nice if we get a free pic.

I went to the library today. DD6 got some videos and a couple books. I got one book. And I can't find it anywhere in the car or house. I'm losing my mind.

I checked my online library account and she never checked the book out to my card. So I never took it home! I was carrying my dd's videos so I never noticed. I put the stuff in the back seat of the car and even went back in for some Vegas books and never realized I didn't have that book.

I"m having one of those really really bad days where I just want to scream or cry. Haven't decided on which yet. The worse part is that my students have noticed so they keep asking me if I'm ok which always gets a chuckle out of me. Sometimes life just stinks!

That's where I was last night. And this afternoon, tears finally showed up. Feeling somewhat better now. I think it helped to get out for a walk with DS after dinner.
