PW- Are all these guys you're emailing from eHarmony?

I never responded to passionate guy. He can take his passions and stick 'em where the sun doesn't shine

No, legs. They are from a single-parent type site. I haven't heard a peep from e-harmony.

LOL! That's telling him! :)

This afternoon I went to visit a friend of mine for a little while. I debated over the last few weeks whether or not to tell her my plans for moving just yet. Today I spilled the beans. She said it's something I definitely need to do. :D I was surprised to hear her say that actually, but I'm glad she did.

She did put an idea in my head...an estate sale! Get rid of as much as I can. Moving expenses can be tough, and I really don't think a white wash dining set will be appropriate in Virginia. Ha! She laughed and agreed with that.

Now...just that tiny detail of selling the home first!

I guess I've been lucky with eharmony or at least it's keeping me busy. I've been talking to six guys in the open communication phase. I admit I sometimes have a hard time keeping them all straight, but it's fun trying!

Pin Wizard I love estate sales. Well i've never been to one, but I love yard sales. I put dibs on anything related to lunchboxes, good records or Pez.

Florida Minnie -YOWZA any good ones from the batch o'men?

BTW yay for the thread part 2!

Suzanne...How many have you been in contact with all together?

SuprGro...I once went to an auction in the hills of Virginia many moons ago. LOL! I had a GREAT time...it was soooooooo much fun! I ended up buying a bowl I think it was that was Christmasy. They had everything under the sun there. I'll have to remind my sister of that when I get up there and plan to go again. :teeth:

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy for thread number 2! :Pinkbounc

I better get back to homework. I think this will be a 3 a.m. evening.

PW...I have open communication with five young gentleman, I"m at the stage four with four, stage three with three and stage two with two. I have several in stage one though that I think that I need to go back and clean out. I've had a total of 47 matches. So now if only that someone special will come along and put a nice wretchin my life.

Well it's off to FCAT testing today. A nice and boring day!

I might try eHarmony, but I'm hestitant. I had a lot of bad experiences with Match.com and other Internet dating sites. But I will try one of these days.

Yesterday was a very good day: my man passed his boards!!!! He is such a cutie - I bought him different beers from around the world and put them in a galvanized tub. I attached balloons to the tub and I think he actually liked the balloons more than the beer!! He said he hasn't had balloons since he was a child. He still has his specialty boards to take, but at least now he will be qualified to be licensed once he finishes his fellowship. YEA!!!!!!

Doc, I am LOL imagining you weighing your trash! That is just too funny. I need to start exercising too. I just weighed myself this morning and want to lose 10 pounds. Back to the gym for me. I think I will try some group exercise classes. Its been a while since I have done something structured - maybe that will keep me motivated.

PW, sometimes people definitely are more attractive in real life than in photographs. That was true of the first two guys I met from match.

Go for it, Barry! What have you got to lose?

TigerBear...Congratulations to your other half! That's sooooooooo exciting, and I would imagine, a tremendous relief! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Good luck to him on his specialty boards when they roll around.

These guys on the internet are something else. I have to say that the one guy I talked to through e-harmony seemed very nice, polite, someone I would have liked to meet. These others? Forget it! Ha! They get extremely personal waaaaaaaaaaaaay too fast! :(

Barry...Try e-harmony! You never know. I've tried it and match. I find it better. You don't know if you don't try.

Suzanne...Wow! You're cruising right along with them. LOL! FCAT today? :crazy2: :scared: Good luck surviving the day!

SuprGro...Then "come oooooooooooooooooooooooon down" to FL for a sale. ;) Today I got 2 bags of stuff out for the garbage that I've had for years and won't ever use the stuff again. Why do I keep moving it with me? It goes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also found a bag of "smaller" clothes I packed away in my closet. The jeans fit...woooooooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooo! Wash them and then wear them. They're soooooooooooooooooo comfortable. :teeth:

Today I'm starting to get a little nervous about the test the doctor repeated last week. The phone has rung a few times. By the third time someone called, it dawned on me that it might be him. Haven't answered yet. Have to get myself ready for anything he might say. Geeeeeeeeeeeee...this stuff is frightening.

Today my elbow started hurting again. :( Hoping it'll go away by tonight, it isn't as bad as before I thought this might happen because I am now done with one of the scripts. But I start another one today too, so we'll see.

When my car was in the shop I had a rental car which was suppossed to be billed to my insurance company, but the stupid rental car place charged my bank account!!! They had the # from my deposit, Grrr! That was like $450. And they didn't let me know so my account went in the red !!! I tried to take out money today and it said insufficiant funds!!! I was like WHAT!?! I was sooo angry!! first I called the bank and then Enterprise and my insurance agency. The guy at Enterprise was like well it's not my problem you have to talk to your insurance. Come to find out they did the billing wrong, hello it is your fault, I said there is a fee charged on my account for overdraft and I hope that will be taken care of due to the ISN'T MY FAULT!!!!!!!!!

Ok, enough venting.

Hope everyone has a great day :)

Wow, MDP...I hope your elbow gets better with the new med. Make sure you check in with the doctor when you're supposed to!

That's something else with Enterprise. One thing I learned from my dad when something gets messed up...write to the guy AT THE TOP. Forget starting on the bottom rung. However, I tend to go back and complain to the people that messed up to give them a chance to fix it. If not, the letter goes to the top guy with a copy to the messer uppers. YES...they need to pay the bank charges! Don't let them out of that one! Good luck!!!

Yep, PW - major, major relief. I think he will have no problem with his specialty boards since they will be covering information he uses every day. My fingers and toes are crossed for you. I've had a medical test come out abnormal, but every test since then has been fine. It definitely happens. How did your house appraisal come out?

MDP, that absolutely sucks!! I hope you get it straightened out.

Barry go for it! It's only like a hundred some questions that they ask you. I did it just for fun one day when I was home sick. I'm going to give it 3 months. It's been intersting and if you don't like someone you just close them off and that's that. Plus it's better than doing the bar scene.

I've been talking with this guy in Illionios and I swear if I didn't know any better he knew more about me. He keeps bringing up things that he wants out of life and is interested in and things he wants to do that I want also. It's very weird , but nice at the same time. This one has a picture.

I survived FCAT today! Just tomorrow and then two more days next week. My kids were so well behaved! We were able to watch all of Second Hand Seal and part of Ruby. HOpefully they did well on their test also.

SuperGro Hopefully that arm of yours will feel better soon! Just make sure to go back to the dr if it doesn't.

Congrats TB on your other half's success on his test! Keep my fingers cross for the other one!

PW, the rule is if you haven't worn it or used it the past year, it's time for it to go.

Woooo hooo is right! What a feeling. :Pinkbounc :bounce:

TigerBear...Glad his specialty boards will be easier. What did you say he is? Psychiatry? Thanks very much for the crossed fingers and toes! And glad to hear you had an abnormal test and later tests were normal! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Well, not happy you had an abnormal one, but glad the others were normal!! :teeth: Appraisal came out very good. Almost double what I paid for it 7.5 years ago. :Pinkbounc Now...to decide on a figure and let the neighbor know.

Suzanne...Glad you survived the FCAT today! :Pinkbounc Throw it out if I haven't used it in a year? Uh oh! That means a LOT has to go! :scared:

He's a child psychiatrist, so he actually has two rounds of boards yet to take - adult psych and child psych. Each one has a written and oral component. I still have a written and oral exam for licensure as well. Can't wait until it is all over!

Doc, have you ever heard of a dog getting hurt while "riding a bike"? My friend recently gave me her old bike and I am trying to figure out how dangerous it would be for me to ride as one of my furbabies runs beside me. I tried it out today with each one - it will definitely take some practice. The exercise would be so good for them though. I just don't want one of them to get injured and the vet to then say, "What were you thinking?". ;)

Wow! Two rounds of Boards to go! And you with your license as well! Good luck on all!!! :)

If I had to throw everything out that I haven't used in the past year I would feel like I didn't have anything left, it is a good idea though. PW~ Good luck w/ that.

I finally had the courage to go through old pictures of a vacation I took w/ my ex boyfriend. I did very well, no crying! Not even close! Woo-Hoo! That is progress. I had planned to scrapbook everything, but I haven't looked at it since the break up over a year ago. So I went through it and took out all the pictures with him in it. Unless it was a group shot w/ friends. I want to remember the vacation, we drove from here (IL) to AZ then to CA to WDL! And when we drove home we took a different route. It was fun so I want to keep the pictures and scrapbook them eventually, but I can leave out the billion pictures of him. He mentioned something about wanting them the last time I heard from him, we saw each other online. But he did say that he would rather one of our mutual friends get them from me and give them to him. I dunno I haven't decided if it is worth the effort to try and get them to him or not. I never thought of him as a bad guy he just broke my heart when he left. Oh well life goes on. We all move on to bigger and better things right. I hope so :)

BTW I am getting that rental car thing worked out, and if they don't make me happy I will complain. I am good at it, I work Customer Service so I figure I take it at work I should be able to dish it out too. :)

Before you know it we are going to be on part 3! LOL

Barry ~ Go for it! ::yes::

TB~ I have seen people ride while their dogs run here in Chicago. If that helps.

FL::MinnieMo ~ Sounds like you enjoy using Eharmony, that's awesome. Hope things go well for you.

Yes, MDP...I would have to throw out most stuff also. LOL! The spring cleaning bug definitely hit today. And tomorrow the floors all get mopped! :teeth: Why do I have visions of Cinderella in my mind? ;)

A word of caution on pictures of the ex. You're smart to not put them in your scrapbook. BUT (there's always a BUT, isn't there?) I wouldn't destroy them or get rid of ALL of them. I still have a picture of an ex. I run into it from time to time. He wasn't one of the best people for me, but sometimes I like reviewing the past. Now, with darling heart throb...when we were in high school, we passed LOTS of notes and letters to each other. I kept them a couple years. Then one day I was so sad, angry, and frustrated that I ripped them ALL up and got rid of them. :( They had filled a shoe box. And I can tell you that I have regreted doing that for many years. We recently talked about them at one point. I asked if he still had any. He said no...not with 17 or so military moves. LOL!

Good morning ya'll. I'm off to work. Talk to you guys later. Have a great day!
